I started The Sanctuary Intl because I saw myself in every diaspora artist I met — invisible, unpaid, untethered. No verified identity. No fair pay. No sanctuary.
So I started writing. Then I started DJing. Then I started building.
Today, I write weekly letters from the borderless self. I perform as a global DJ. I host qawwali nights and poetry gatherings. I run the Desi Artist Passport. I connect brands and foundations with diaspora artists.

I am the only worlds Sufi DJ who is an Eastern classically trained singer of the Gwalior gharana — the oldest generational tradition in South Asian music, the very tradition that created the ghazal. I merge Sufi soul with contemporary, modern sounds. I am a solo female traveling artist, writer, and entrepreneur.
